It dawned on me early this morning as I was driving to the gym that today is a milestone in my life on 2 accounts. 1. It is now 30 Days until my Official Birthday Day and 2. It was 1 year ago today that I took the HCG program and ran with it!
We all know I am all about my Birthday and Celebrate the Whole Month of September, so here is your Warning. That's all I have on that right now, lol.
One year ago today, a friend and I made a Buddy Pact to do the HCG Program together and we went thru the informational class with Dr. David Phipps of Phipps Chiropractic and received the drops and instructions. My friend suggested we start the drops on 8/8 because you load for the first 2 days of the program. So we ATE on 8/8! It had a catchy ring and easy to remember that way. She's cool like that :-)
There are several blog posts about my HCG Weightloss Journey and feel free to read any and all of them if you are interested.
I started at 212 pounds and lost over 60 pounds, I have maintained atleast 50 of those pounds, while adding muscle. It works if you are ready mentally, physically and emotionally for it to work. (I did 2 rounds of the HCG Drops and have been on maintenance since Mid-January.)
In my journey I have changed quite a bit, I think for the better. Not that I didn't love me some me before. Now I love me and am more tolerant and inquisitive about others. I feel more intune with the Universe in general.
I have been working out with weights for 6 months, doing yoga on and off 5 months and cardio here and there for 4 months. I ran/walked in the Komen 5k in May with a friend! That's huge for someone who wouldn't run if her butt was on fire!
Acquired a Passport and went to South Africa with a dear friend and walked up a mountain just because I could.
In my journey I was open and honest and kept a blog and would share with anyone interested in knowing. I have encouraged several people to take the journey with me and have set a good example along the way of perserverance and determination with a smile.
Feeling better inside does wonders for the outside and it can all be done by eating fresh, living food. If it didn't have a face or plant-based, I didn't eat it. Drank lots of water and tea unsweetened of course and started exercising. Feeling better at 42 than I did at 32.
Meeting new inspirational people on a daily basis and learning new tricks from life-long friends. My support system is an awesomeforce to be reckoned with. Thank you each and every one of you!
All about Peace, Love and Happiness more than ever before and #ILOVEMYLIFE!
